We are seeking a talented and motivated Platform Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Platform team, specifically to support our Corporate Data Hub, and the Query & Compute domain team. What role will you play As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting the various tools managed by the Enterprise Data Platform Query & Compute domain. You will assist in delivering new platform capabilities leveraging AWS and Kubernetes technologies. You will have the opportunity to be part of several greenfield projects that will transform the platform and the way the business uses it. Additionally, you will build and manage tools such as Starburst Presto, Spark, Redshift, DBT hosted on AWS EKS and Deploy new tools on AWS infrastructure to conduct POCs to assess new technologies. You will also develop and implement solutions to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency to resolve vulnerabilities to secure the platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their data needs to monitor and troubleshoot issues and resolve customer incidents What you offer Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of enterprise experience as a Cloud/DevOps/Data Engineer Hands-on experience with AWS platform and its services Hands-on experience with Kubernetes Experience with Big Data processing technologies Strong scripting skills python, bash Ability to support the business through effective communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Passionate problem solver with a keen interest in Big Data and Cloud technologies We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
