Job Description
Key Responsibilities1. Solution Engineering & Technical Documentation - Conceptualize and develop relevant solutions aligned to customers need pertaining to Smart City initiatives, which is primarily focuses on data from specially deployed sensors covering video, audio, energy, transport and water sensors, satellite sources, social and economic datasets
a) Urban Computing and Data Services
b) Energy Informatics (Dynamic Demand Response)
c) Citizen Innovation and User-Centered Design
d) Data Visualization and Visual Analytics
e) Digital Learning and Data Skills
2. Responsible for understanding the user requirements form the RFP, RFQ or from any other input sources given by the customer preparing the complete technical documentation for the bid response covering from the concept of compliance to commissioning
3. Responsible for product analysis and keeping a track of new technologies getting
developed and being adapted across global market for smart city initiatives and/or smart applications
4. The role will involve the employee to validate the compliance given by various OEM against the technical documents offered by the solution provider.
5. Collaborate in response to customer specific needs, related to ITes/ICT/ IT application based solutions for smart Cities
6. Leading innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing solution & data centric technologies meeting the RFP and business requirements
7. The solution architecting will range from surveillance, smart lighting, ITMS, IOT and other systems of similar nature
8. Proven track record of designing and managing solutions engineering end to end covering the complete solution offering
Experience / Exposure
1. Having 03+ years of experience in Telecom/IT industry, especially in the area of ICT and Application based solutions
2. Have experience in IOT & HMI application, services & devices for creating an enterprise solution offering. Understand and visualize customers need pertaining to Smart City initiatives, which is primarily focuses on devices, data & applications, with basic understanding of following areas
i. Urban Computing and Data Services
ii. Energy Informatics (Dynamic Demand Response)
iii. Citizen Innovation and User-Centered Design
iv. Data Visualisation and Visual Analytics
v. Digital Learning and Data Skills
vi. Experience in utility automation including SCADA.
3. Have understanding of building large scale distributed data processing systems/applications or large-scale internet systems (cloud computing). Covering various heterogenous systems with in the neetwork.
Education & Skillset
1. Minimum Bachelors in Electronics & Telecommunication/Information Technology (or equivalent), with 03+ years of working experience in Telecom/IT domain with understanding of ICT Application/ solutions.
2. Have understanding of data implementations, data storage and distribution
3. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills with high level of passion for technologies, solution & design with a flexible, creative approach to problem solving.
4. Excellent problem solving and planning skills; proven technical leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills
5. The ability to work under your own initiative in collaborating with various stakeholders
6. Strong skill set in preparing the solution documents and ease in working with word, excel, powerpoint and adobe tools.
7. Good skills in preparing the Network architecture and solution documents using various online and offline tools.
8. Excellent command over excel will be given good weightage
Preference will be given to candidates with products certifications, and strong real time experience
