Job Description
- Job Responsibility Shall manage a team of System designers and requirement development team Shall direct and guide team in Software Systems design and interaction design Shall enable and unblock the team in delivering robust design as per the product development timeline. Shall lead the requirement handling with supplier and prepare of software technical requirements for infotainment features Shall review the software architecture, develop software systems interface. Design of APIs and interactions Shall develop new features as per the product requirement Functional design of distributed functions in line with in-vehicle communication requirements (CAN/LIN/Ethernet/A2B) after coordinating with stakeholders Shall develop systems based on the Service oriented architecture Identification of design exceptions/failure modes to ensure functional robustness using systematic methodology (block diagram, function tree etc.) Functional and Software interfaces design specification using usecases, sequence diagram, state diagrams etc. in UML tools Prepare RFQ, Scope of Work documentation and participate discussion with supplier for completion of technical review and agreement Systems engineering of software and Hardware components Responsible for requirement management of Projection technologies (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay) in vehicle Prepare DFMEA and review with the cross functional team Troubleshooting and analysis of functional/System Level defects Provide technical support on all phases of delivery like PO, PP, SOP and field failures. Desired Candidate Profile Software Systems Engineering 10- 12 years of experience Cockpit domain controller features System Design /architecture preparation. Software knowledge on Android/Linux systems Shall have knowledge on IOT/Cloud interface/cloud systems architecture Shall have capability to design software systems which will cut across domains and ECUs/Software modules Hands on experience in development and integration of Infotainment systems and its child modules in vehicle environment Infotainment Feature development Shall have experience of delivering multiple infotainment / Cockpit domain controller systems for vehicle projects. Solution architecting skills, exception analysis, inter ECU interaction design Software development and team leading skills Hands on knowledge of software development in Infotainment domain will be added advantage UML functional modelling in tools like Enterprise Architecture etc software failure mode analytical skills software systems Engineering, basic knowledge of UML in system interaction modelling Knowledge of wiring harness, connectors, electronics components, circuit design, debugging etc Well versed with CAN/LIN/SOME IP tools, simulation, de-bugging and its design requirements Android Operating system knowledge and App development exposure will be added advantage Well conversant with measurements instruments, tools and related software Multiple project handling and time management Good verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of Automotive ECU and Software development process exposure to Android/QNX based developments and systems design Good knowledge on Vehicle EE Architecture,
