Job Description
- Financial Record Keeping:Maintain accurate financial records for import/export transactions, including preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other related reports.
- Tax Compliance:Ensure compliance with import duties, taxes (TDS, GST, income tax), and relevant regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, including TDS and GST returns.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:Oversee accounts related to import/export transactions, track outstanding payments, and manage the invoice cycle using tools like Tally.
- Customs Clearance:Assist with documentation for customs clearance and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Cost Analysis:Analyze costs like freight, insurance, duties, and taxes (including GST). Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Audits:Ensure adherence to accounting standards and assist with internal/external audits, focusing on GST, income tax, and TDS compliance.
- E-Way Bill Management:Manage the generation and tracking of e-way bills for goods transportation as per legal requirements.
- Other:May be involved in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for import/export operations.
- Strong accounting knowledge and expertise in financial principles.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Tally.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, including TDS, GST, and Income T
- Experience in e-way bill generation and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
