- Role Description Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Testing Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience in automation testing, specifically in Selenium, Java, API testing, UI testing, and database testing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, automated testing frameworks, and a deep understanding of QA processes. Responsibilities Engage in hands-on coding, focusing on Selenium WebDriver/Serenity BDD frameworks. Design and develop automation test frameworks from scratch. Create and manage automation systems, integrating them with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Conduct testing of REST and SOAP APIs using tools like RestSharp and REST-assured. Maintain strong command over version control systems such as Git. Implement and advocate for Agile and DevOps approaches in automated testing environments. Propose and establish automated testing methodologies, evaluating their effectiveness. Lead, mentor, and guide teams in adopting automation testing techniques. Develop and execute strategic automation plans for various projects. Conduct reviews and provide assessments for proposed automation solutions. Select and recommend the most appropriate automation tools based on project requirements. Effectively present automation strategies and solutions to management. Stay open to learning and adopting new automation tools as required by product needs. Must-Have Skills Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in automation testing with expertise in Selenium and Java. Automation Tools: Strong experience with automation tools including Selenium, QTP, NUnit, and Appium, with familiarity in Cucumber frameworks. API Testing: Expertise in REST and SOAP API testing using tools like RestSharp and REST-assured. Scripting: Skilled in test automation scripting using VBScript and Java. Database Testing: Significant experience in database automation using Java/JavaScript and proficiency in SQL, with the ability to understand complex queries. Version Control: Proficient in handling Git for version control. Agile & DevOps: Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and the ability to apply them to automated testing environments. Coding Background: Strong object-oriented coding background. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Good-to-Have Skills WinAppDriver knowledge is an advantage. Python proficiency is a plus. Familiarity with Unix commands. Relevant certifications in testing or automation technologies. Experience Range Minimum: 7 years of experience in automation testing with expertise in Selenium, Java, and API testing. Preferred: 10 to 12 years of experience in automation testing and framework development.
