Routing and Switching Engineer - ServiceNow Change Management and Monitoring Tool We are seeking a skilled Routing and Switching Engineer with expertise in networking principles and extensive experience in ServiceNow change management and monitoring tools. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure to ensure the seamless operation of the organization's networks. Responsibilities: Manage operations of routing and switching network components, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor network performance, security, and compliance metrics to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry standards. Utilize ServiceNow for change management processes to ensure effective implementation and documentation of network changes. Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications. Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against cybersecurity threats. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in networking and security to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Perform network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues and ensure network performance. Use monitoring tools to oversee network health and quickly address any issues that arise. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience working as a Network Engineer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching devices. Experience with ServiceNow for change management processes. Proficiency in using monitoring tools to oversee network performance and health. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Industry certifications such as CCNA or other relevant certifications are mandatory.
