Offering flexible work arrangements and support for personal well-being. Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Security Analyst to join our security team. The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect the organization's data and infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with IT teams and other departments to ensure the implementation of effective security measures and the ongoing assessment of potential threats. Experience Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security analysis. Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response processes. Role & Responsibilities Security Monitoring : Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security tools to identify and analyze potential security threats. Perform real-time analysis of security alerts and incidents, determining their severity and escalating as necessary. Incident Response Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and remediation. Develop and maintain incident response plans and protocols, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents. Threat Analysis And Vulnerability Management Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses. Analyze threat intelligence and security data to identify trends and emerging threats. Security Policies And Compliance Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001. Security Awareness And Training Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote security best practices and reduce the risk of human error. Develop and distribute security awareness materials, including newsletters, bulletins, and alerts. Documentation And Reporting Maintain detailed records of security incidents, responses, and resolutions. Prepare reports on security metrics, incident trends, and compliance status for management review. Collaboration Work closely with IT, DevOps, and other departments to implement security controls and improvements. Collaborate with external security vendors and consultants as needed. Skills Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities. Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection. Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and application security principles. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common security threats. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical Requirements : Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Availability for on-call rotations and the ability to respond to security incidents outside of regular working hours. Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Certifications Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification (Needed). CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC are desirable.
