- 3 - 5 Years 1 Opening Trivandrum Role description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Enterprise Network Support L2 Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Meraki products to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 support for enterprise network environments, focusing on Cisco Meraki wireless, switching, routing and security solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Provide L2-level technical support for enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki wireless access points, switches, routers and firewalls. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues escalated from L1, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Perform configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco Meraki hardware and software solutions. Manage network security policies, VPN configurations, and firewall rules within the Meraki dashboard. Proactively monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation through Meraki monitoring tools and s. Analyze and resolve LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security issues in a multi-site enterprise environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, server, cloud) for integrated network solutions. Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Participate in change management processes, including planning and implementing network changes. Coordinate with Cisco Meraki TAC (Technical Assistance Center) for unresolved issues and firmware/feature updates. Educate and mentor L1 support teams on basic troubleshooting steps and processes. Required Skills: 4+ years of experience in enterprise network support roles, including L2 responsibilities. Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki products, including: Wireless Access Points (MR series) Security Switches (MS series) Meraki Dashboard management Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN (IPSec, SSL), NAT, and network security concepts. Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi troubleshooting and optimization. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, network routing and switching principles. Experience in remote network support and troubleshooting using Meraki tools. Familiarity with cloud-managed networking concepts and operations. Ability to analyze packet captures and identify traffic flow issues. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
