- Job Description M S Dhoni Global School is seeking an experienced and passionate STEM Facilitator to teach students from Grades 1 to 5. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both Coding and Robotics, with a focus on engaging and inspiring young minds through innovative teaching methods. The role requires a hands-on approach to learning, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students. Location: Ottiambakkam, Chennai. Note: Transportation facilities are provided within a "12 km" radius of the school. Objectives Of This Role Teach the subject at the given grades as per the CBSE standards and the educational needs and abilities of the students Create a classroom culture that is welcoming, positive, and inclusive Plan, prepare, and teach lessons, promoting the general progress and well-being of individual students and groups of students Drive outstanding student achievement for all students in your subject and support colleagues in driving student achievement school-wide Communicate, cooperate, and consult with school staff, and parents/guardians in the students best interest Identify and groom students for various literary events like elocution, essay writing, debates etc. Daily And Monthly Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging STEM lessons across various grade levels, focusing on Coding and Robotics. Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards and school objectives. Facilitate hands-on activities and projects to reinforce STEM concepts. Provide personalized support and guidance to students, encouraging their interest and proficiency in STEM subjects. Collaborate with other educators to integrate STEM learning across the curriculum. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in STEM education and incorporate them into teaching practices. Organize and participate in school events, workshops, and competitions related to STEM. Skills And Qualifications Coding Expertise Required: Block-based programming (e.g., Scratch, PictoBlox) Mobile Application Development (e.g., MIT App Inventor, Thunkable) HTML & CSS Python 3D Designing Game Development AI & ML Database Management Data Visualization JavaScript Robotics Expertise (Preferred): LEGO Education kits (Early Simple Machines, BricQ Motion Essential & Prime, Spike Essential & Prime with programming) Fischertechnik Robotics kits (BT Beginner, TXT 4.0 Base with programming) Basic Electronics with Cretile Arduino Internet of Things (IoT) Raspberry Pi Educational Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Any Engineering/STEM Education discipline). Proven experience in teaching STEM subjects, particularly Coding and Robotics. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups. Experience in designing curriculum and lesson plans.
