Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and digitally savvy Supply Chain Project Manager with hands-on supply chain operational experience and a strong background in technology project management. This individual will act as a bridge between software engineering/technology teams & supply chain operations teams. This individual will be guiding the development of innovative software solutions and leading multiple technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate is a continuous learner, adept at emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and capable of serving as a Product Owner, Supply Chain Advisor, and Project Manager. Responsibilities Provide insights into supply chain operations to guide the design & development of software solutions Act as a trusted advisor to technology teams by translating operational challenges into technical requirements Identify risks associated with supply chain processes and propose technology-enabled solutions Manage end-to-end delivery of supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables Promote Agile and other project management methodologies to optimize project execution Evaluate and integrate AI/ML models to enhance supply chain analytics and decision-making Stay informed about technological advancements in supply chain management and recommend their adoption where feasible Drive process optimization initiatives by leveraging data analytics tools and emerging technologies Conduct lessons learned sessions post-project completion to identify areas for improvement Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication of project goals Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities Requirements Overall, 14 to 21 years of experience required, including hands-on experience in E2E supply chain operations & implementing digital supply chain initiatives Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience across supply chain operations and technology project management Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale technology projects within the supply chain domain Knowledge of global supply chain trends and regulatory requirements Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously Continuous learner & digitally savvy Proactive in building & maintaining stakeholder relationships Preferred experience in Banking/Healthcare/Automotive/Retail domains Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations / Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related fields. Masters degree preferred Familiarity with ways of using AI/ML techniques for predictive analytics, modeling in supply chains Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira Good knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Nice to have ASCM / APICS CSCP, MIT MicroMasters, PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt Certifications in AI/ML technologies (good to have),
