Job Descriptions Backup Up System Integration Architect Primary Skill (Technical Skill): Backup Technologies NetBackup Comvault HP DP Secondary Skill (optional) EMC Networker, Data domain, VTL, & Storage Technologies Educational Qualifications BE Experience Level 8+ Years Role & Responsibilities [Hint: - Describe the Challenges, Key Result Areas, Decisions he can make, Team Size, Future growth in our organization. Give the Project/Account Description, wherever possible, else describe the activities scheduled in the Project/Account. Mandatorily specify the domain/technology areas the candidate will work on.] Role: He will involve in designing the backup and archival solutions for small to enterprise customer environments including VTL, De-duplication etc which meets regulatory compliances. He is responsible for providing transformation solution, approach, plan and implement the same with team of Backup implementation engineers Should be able to make business case for solution provided He will take up backup and archival assessment engagement which involves detailed study to recommend the tactical and strategical solution to customer. He is responsible for solution presentations to customer Sizing of backup infrastructure, tape library, recommending backup solution for virtual, physical, typical infra application , VTL, Tape library and defining the backup policies.( For any vendor product ) Vendor : Comvault, Veritas and HP Required Candidate Profile (Job Requirements/Descriptions) [Hint: - Mandatory to specify what Domains/technology areas/skills/projects the candidate should have worked on. What Knowledge of job, Market/Industry knowledge he must possess. Specify the required skill levels he must possess w.r.t Communication, Team Management, Business Development. Etc. Describe in detail what his current role should have been in his current organization.] Profile: Should be well versed with backup and archival technologies Should be well versed with backup and archival solution from Comvault, Netbackup, HP / EMC,.(Minimum two technology skills are mandatory For design and implementation) Sound knowledge on trouble shooting backup issues Must have had hand-on experience on at least two vendor products on backup and archival ( EMC and Netback up) Should SAN and NAS technologies Skills: Extensive experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining backup and archival environment Working knowledge of UNIX and windows operating systems. Good understanding of disk and replication technologies on both Symmetrix and CLARiiON - BCVs, snaps, consistent split, RAID, etc. OR equivalent products from HP and Hitachi Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Good customer service and communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to deliver professional engagement documentation. Certifications: Any industry standard certifications on backup and archival Technical Skills Required (only for technical hires) [Include languages, OS, Platform skills required] Key skills required: (in the order of priority) Same as above Specific Domain/Technical/Functional skills Could be one of the following Wireless, Datacom, Optical Networks, Intelligent Networks, VoIP, Switching Systems Telecom Service Provider Applications WAP Gateway, Bluetooth Solutions, VLSI/ System Design, OS / Platform Technologies B2B/ B2C/Mobile commerce/ Web Security, CRM/SCM/ ERP, Datawarehousing, Client Server/Mainframe IT Infrastructure Sales & Marketing, HR/Recruitment, Quality /Administration Others,
