- What is the opportunity Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Senior Technology and Integration Services, the Integration Consultant will work in multiple client-facing projects to enable SaaS onboarding. You will act as the technical go-to person for SaaS onboarding and a thought leader on Zafin integration paradigms and its best practices across multiple cloud platforms. You will have ample opportunities to field your best communication, technical, and organizational skills to take a SaaS project from initiation to go-live. You will represent client interests internally to enhance process, product, documentation, and delivery experience. You will interact with senior technical leaderships on the client-side and present and align them with solution approaches. You will interact with multiple internal stakeholders to achieve alignment across various project goals and delivery targets. What will you do Thoroughly understand the requirements and design of backend systems. Collaborate with internal teams, including Product teams, Project Managers, Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and QA teams across multiple locations. Understand High-Level Design (HLD) and prepare Low-Level Design (LLD), particularly focusing on integration and interface modules. Conduct code reviews and evaluate project documentation developed by juniors and peers. Review and report the status of development, proactively addressing any issues that might impact timelines. Embed and enforce quality and coding standards within the development team. Continuously improve the quality of delivery and build high-performance teams. Report deliverables to managers and contribute to knowledge bases and process improvements. Adhere to company core standards and guidelines. Assign detailed and accurate tasks to the development team regularly. Conduct model-level effort estimation and integrate components for complete application development. Drive performance engineering, tuning, and architect scalable backend systems. Collaborate on the design and optimization of RESTful APIs and Kafka-based streaming architectures. Ensure system performance, scalability, and security for real-time data streaming and integration processes. What do I need to succeed Must Have: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 6 years of backend development experience, with demonstrated lead experience. Strong database knowledge and expertise in writing complex queries across Postgres, MS SQL, Oracle, and DB2. Experience with Application Servers like JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic. Proven expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and modern backend frameworks. Strong experience in multi-threaded server-side Java programming. Hands-on experience with REST-based APIs, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures. Strong understanding of API security, scalability, and performance optimization. Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Sonar, and JUnit for development and testing. Proven experience in developing real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka or similar streaming technologies. Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML. Working knowledge of OOAD, UML, and agile development methodologies. Ability to work in remote and office settings, with flexibility for offshore hours and fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Experience in product implementation and delivery in enterprise environments. Domain knowledge in banking and financial institutions will be considered a strong asset. Nice to Have: Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster team collaboration. Creative and out-of-the-box thinking with the ability to conceptualize and articulate new solutions. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities. Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude. Proactive approach with a strong desire to learn and innovate. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems, with an emphasis on API and streaming data integration.
