Job Description
- Job Title: Business Analyst (Retail/Supply Chain Analytics) Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid - 2 days WFH) Functional Strategy & Advisory: Work with Chief Supply Chain Officer, Corporate/Regional Supply Chain teams, supply planning teams of various brands on assessing supply chain strategy in alignment with business imperatives and growth strategy through data diagnostics and gap analysis. Solution Development: Understand business problems and their decision drivers from data & algorithm point of view. Build algorithms to solve business problems. Provide insights, recommendations, action planning and ROI to support management decisions. Ensure smooth operations & accuracy of deployed (or in development) analytical solutions by feature re-engineering, model management and fine-tuning of business rules/constraints. Project Management: Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of the output for projects in data mart development, data visualization dashboards, Ad-hoc analysis, analytical solutions, etc. Stakeholder Management & Analytics Translation: Manage stakeholder expectations and understand the business problem from their point of view. Translate business requirements to analytical solutions and analytical results to business recommendations. Present analytic findings & opportunities for improvement to senior management and summarize key findings, and aid in the dissemination of metrics throughout the organization. Practice Development & Process Optimization: Coordinate the deployment of supply chain process improvements and best-in-class AI/ML applications in collaboration with product managers, data science and data engineering teams, and functional group members. Leverage functional and analytical expertise to design a solution to address on-going problems. Building industry knowledge and learn innovative. Knowledge Management: Contribute to development of training materials and share knowledge within team. Disseminate information on applications of variety of analytical techniques. Job Role: Define and drive analytical solutions roadmap for improving supply chain business decisions of all business units (BU) in Landmark Group (Gulf). Be hands-on in solution development along with leading junior team to advise business stakeholders on a wide range of areas across varied retail supply chain functions- Vendor Management, Global Trade Management, Logistics Management, Warehouse Management, Last mile delivery, etc. Job Responsibilities: Solid understanding of Retail industry and processes in Supply Chain Analytics areas like (Fulfillment Optimization, Warehouse operation optimization, Route optimization, Freight cost optimization, etc.) Experience in Data management projects in Data Lake technologies and Data visualization tools will be preferred. Knowledge of analytical techniques such as Time Series Analysis, Linear Regression, Linear & Integer Programming, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees/Random Forest, etc. is required. Understanding of programming languages such as Python, Pyspark and SQL with expert level knowledge in at least one. Knowledge of data technologies like Data Bricks, Data Lake, Data Factory, PowerBI, etc. in cloud platform like Azure will be preferred. Good presentation skills (Storyboarding, public speaking and influencing commercial audience). Good communication and interpersonal Skills Attention to detail and ability to work in high pressure environment. Strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations. Masters degree in any quantitative discipline or MBA.
