Job Description
We are looking for a React Native developer (2-3 years of industry experience) responsible for the development and maintenance of Mobile applications aimed at a range of platforms including iOS and Android. You will be part of the project team working on the world's largest transportation project. Your primary focus will be to lead the development of Mob applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
- Build pixel-perfect, UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Design, develop, secure high performing mobile applications using React Native for both Android & IOS
- Translate designs & wireframes into a high-quality code & Mobile UI
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose, fix bugs & performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage & help implement mission-critical software fixes - React Native moves fast & often breaks things.
- Maintain code & write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
- Release the app to both Appstore & Playstore
Skills
- 2-3 years Mobile development experience
- Min 1 year Hands on experience in React Native, Redux
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript language & its nuances, including ES6+ syntax Object-oriented programming
- Write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
- Working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, & offline storage
- Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest.
- Experience in Firebase/GraphQL
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team
- Excellent scoping and estimation skills
- Agile/Scrum development cycle understanding
