- Job Description Job Title: Senior Architect - Data Modelling Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad. Curious about the role What your typical day would look like As a Senior Architect, you will work to solve some of the most complex and captivating data management problems that would enable them as a data-driven organization; Seamlessly switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and an Architect as demanded by each project to define, design, and deliver actionable insights. On a typical day, you might Lead and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical Data models. Design data architectures covering end to end data lifecycle to organise data from varied sources, data acquisition, storage, data security and visualisation. Suggest best modelling approach to the client based on their requirement and target architecture. Analyse and understand the Datasets and guide the team in creating Source to Target Mapping and Data dictionaries, capturing all relevant details. Profile the Data sets to generate relevant insights. Define Data Modelling Best Practices and ensure implementation of Best Practices across projects. Optimize the Data Models and work with the Data Engineers to define the Ingestion logic, ingestion frequency and data consumption patterns. Adheres to data quality standards and data procedures. Reviews data models for data quality assurance and validates compliance with data architecture standards. Drives automation in modelling activities Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Data Owners, Business Analysts, Architects to design and develop next generation data platform. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Guide /mentor team members. Collaborate with pre-sales for POCs. Enabling data catalog and business glossary as per the process defined by data governance team. Job Requirement What do we expect Minimum 13 years of experience in data space and hands on experience in designing data architecture. Decent experience in one or more RDBMS systems (such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) Good understanding of Relational, Dimensional, Data Vault Modelling Expertise in developing data models for multiple business domains and various functional areas within the module. Good experience in OLTP and OLAP systems Excellent Data Analysis skills Good Experience on one or more Cloud DW (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse) Experience on one or more cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) Hands-on experience in one or more Data Modelling Tools Good understanding of one or more ETL tool and data ingestion frameworks Understanding of Data Quality and Data Governance Good understanding of NoSQL Database and modeling techniques Good understanding of one or more Business Domains Understanding of Big Data ecosystem Experience in contributing to proposals and RFPs. Understanding of Industry Data Models Good to have hands-on experience in Python. Good understanding of agile methodology Excellent Communication skills You are important to us, lets stay connected!
