Role Description The Storage Solutions Architect position is designed as a technical pre-sales, customer management role for a data management software solution. During pre-sales, you will communicate with the customer to gather business and technical requirements, coordinate technical information and provide demonstration and product positioning capability. You should be prepared to research the specifics of customers" requirements and consider supportability. You should be able to evaluate the customers business requirements and translate to technical and licensing requirements. As this relates to a POC or Sale, the sales representative is expected to review the work. For existing customers where upsell or cross-sell is the objective, you will also liaise and work closely with the customer success manager assigned to the account and the global support team if and as required. You are also expected to provide a warm handover to the implementation team as the customer goes live to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience at all times. It is expected that you would be able to set up and conduct demonstrations and POCs yourself from scratch. The POC process also requires defining and agreeing success criteria with the customer and sales rep and tracking that the customer goals are being met. Upon finishing a POC, you are expected to gain approval from the customer with a presentation to Data Dynamics Sales and the customers decision-makers.After any sale in any region, you are also expected to be available to assist or lead the installation. This will depend on the time zone and available manpower. As you are in the beneficial position of talking to new and existing customers daily and understanding their business vision, goals and objectives and technical capabilities and restrictions, you are expected to advocate for the customer, providing feedback into any relevant team within Data Dynamics. Whether it is regarding a business process, technical issues or enhancements, providing feedback from the field and driving continuous improvements in everything we do is imperative to our end goal of successful and happy customers. Other duties include but are not limited to script writing where needed, bug reporting, testing software where needed, personal activity tracking, CRM updates, and communication updates to management. Qualifications Proficiency with Windows and Linux, Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of File/NAS and Object Storage, SQL and Postgresql, Elasticsearch Knowledge of Data Discovery, Data Science OCR, NLP, Computer Vision, AI, Keyword search, Regex, Data Governance GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA Microservices based applications, ITILv4, Project Management and Data Migration Presales and Integration experience Excellent problem-solving, presentation and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in data management or related field is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
