Job Description
- Description: SQL Server DBA with 8+ years of experience Requirements: Must have 13+ Years of exp Should have 8 + years of experience as a SQL Server developer Good knowledge of Designing and Development of database objects, i.e. Tables, Indexes, Keys, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, and SSIS packages commensurate with the level of experience. Excellent debugging skills to decode the logic of complex stored procedures. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries (Stored Procs) and database operations. Optimize database schema and queries for efficient data retrieval. Query Tuning and Troubleshooting: Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors. Performance Monitoring: Set up and maintain monitoring tools to proactively detect and address database performance issues. Excellent documentation skills should be able to read and translate the logic of complex stored procedures into simple language. MS SQL Server DBA, Azure, Disaster Recover Job Responsibilities: Design, develop and implement database systems based on customer requirements. Optimize database systems for performance efficiency. Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects. Perform space management and capacity planning for database systems. Develop database tables and dictionaries. Ensure data quality and integrity in databases. Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures. Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development. Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects. Perform data back-up and archival on regular basis. Test databases and perform bug fixes. Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion. Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage. Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
