Job Description
POSITION SUMMARYThis is an AI scientist position with the Artificial Intelligence and Product Engineering organization. This organization is the Innovation Hub of the company and is chartered with solving complex business problems through Data science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence - NLP, Computer Vision, Cognitive Computing and Platform/Product Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product management, Operations and product engineering stakeholders to develop statistical models, simulations, tests and reports.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of data projects from strategic planning to tactical activities (data collection, clean-up, analysis, model implementation).
- Study latest research and industry developments in Machine learning to solve real-world business problems.
- Envisage next-generation data science challenges and recommend solutions.
- Facilitate IP generation in the organization and work towards patenting inventions.
- Manage traditional Data science and AI projects simultaneously.
- Bachelors degree/Master degree/PHD, 5-10 years work experience in statistics, probability, and modelling using Machine learning techniques(XGBoost, RandomForest, Decision Tree etc.
- Expert knowledge of analytical techniques: distribution fitting, multivariate statistics, stochastic modeling, time series modeling, design of experiments, sampling, classification, clustering, hypothesis testing, regression, forecasting etc.
- Proven track record building business-practical models and implementing them into production.
- At least 1-2 projects using Deep learning, either in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Hand-on coding skills in Python with proficiency in Pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras , PyTorch or equivalent packages
- Proficiency in either Tensorflow or Pytorch is must
- Ability to work on complex, highly visible, global engagements under minimal supervision.
- Ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-pressure environment.
Ability to lead multiple technical programs at a single point of time
