Job Description

An immigration audit and compliance manager will ensure that Wipros immigration and compliance practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. They also develop and maintain policies and procedures to address risks and violations. The individual will be responsible to conduct periodic audits with in the ERM function ensuring the organization meets the global compliance regulations. The role will support Global Mobility group to manage risk and maintain accurate records to mitigate compliance risks in Global employee relocations and assignments. Key responsibilities: Conduct internal audits for Global mobility group to ensure compliance with immigration and labour laws. Identify risks, gaps and areas for improvement in global mobility processes and recommend corrective action. Ensure compliance with local and international laws, immigration regulations and global mobility policies. Stay current on changes to immigration laws and other regulatory matters affecting global assignments Liaise with internal legal team and external consultants for advice on compliance issues and best practices. Collaborate with internal teams like Global people operations, Compensation and Benefits HR team, Legal team and Global Mobility function to minimize compliance related risks associated with employee assignments, relocations and expatriate management. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Assist in periodic reports for internal reviews and monthly leadership dashboard. Develop training materials and conduct sessions to raise awareness for compliance issues within the Global Mobility team and other relevant departments. Ensure process SOPs are up to date and the master trackers show the latest ageing and remediated data.,
