About the Role: Digiemperor is looking for a passionate and skilled Associate Software Developer (Node.js) to join our fast-growing tech team. If you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Node.js, along with knowledge of Express.js and MySQL, and a desire to build scalable backend solutions, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Design and develop server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js. Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Develop, maintain, and optimize MySQL databases and ensure smooth data handling. Write clean, modular, and scalable code adhering to best practices and coding standards. Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Perform debugging, testing, and code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs. Stay updated on latest backend technologies and suggest enhancements to improve system performance and maintainability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of professional experience working with Node.js and Express.js. Proficient in MySQL, with a strong understanding of database design and query optimization. Experience with building and integrating RESTful APIs. Solid grasp of backend programming fundamentals, server architecture, and asynchronous programming. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend-backend integration. Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills. Nice-to-Have: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Knowledge of Docker or containerized environments. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular is a plus.
