Job Description: Senior DSP Engineer Location: Bangalore/Kochi (Hybrid) Experience Required: 8-12 Years Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior DSP Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced signal processing algorithms for applications such as wireless communication, audio processing, radar, and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DSP theory, real-time embedded development, and high-performance algorithm optimization. Key Responsibilities: Algorithm Development: Design and implement DSP algorithms for filtering, modulation, demodulation, FFTs, adaptive signal processing, etc. Optimize signal processing techniques for real-time execution on embedded hardware (ARM, DSP processors, FPGAs). Embedded DSP Implementation: Develop high-performance DSP applications in C, C++, MATLAB, and Python. Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to integrate DSP solutions into embedded platforms. Conduct performance analysis, profiling, and optimization for DSP software. System Integration & Debugging: Debug and resolve real-time DSP-related issues using tools like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers. Optimize multi-rate signal processing and adaptive filtering for embedded applications. Innovation & Documentation: Stay updated on latest advancements in machine learning for DSP, hardware acceleration (SIMD, CUDA, OpenCL), and FPGA-based DSP. Document designs, specifications, and test procedures for DSP algorithms and systems. Required Technical Skills: Strong DSP Fundamentals: Fourier transforms, filtering, modulation, demodulation, signal detection, etc. Programming Expertise: C, C++, MATLAB, Python. Embedded DSP Development: Real-time signal processing on ARM, DSP processors, FPGAs. Debugging & Testing: Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers. Communication Protocols: Knowledge of OFDM, MIMO, 5G, SDR, or audio processing techniques. Preferred Qualifications: Machine Learning in DSP: Experience in AI-based DSP optimization.
