Job Description

Job Title Deputy Manager Geologist Location: Head Office, New Delhi Reporting To Programme Director Job Purpose To define the occurrences and suitability of clay and other minerals for application in low carbon cements. Key Responsibilities To undertake secondary literature survey on clay, limestone and other cement and waste based materials across India and other countries especially Africa, Asia and Pacific Field visits to various mining sites for collection of samples of raw materials Undertake mapping of raw materials, quantity estimation and logistics of mining Coordination for arrangement of raw materials and management of testing Supervision of sample receipt, documentation, sample entry and processing of raw materials Timely delivery of reports with clients and internal satisfaction. Desired Qualification Graduate/Post Graduate in Geology or Applied Geology Desired Work Experience A minimum of 2 years exposure to field surveys and sampling. Required as Regular / Contractual Employee Negotiable Desired Category Deputy Manager C1 Desirable Attributes Must be proficient in English with excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to write good reports. Hard working with ability to undertake field surveys and analyze results. Ability to travel extensively and undertake geological field surveys is a necessary pre-requisite. Experience in working in cement industries will be preferable.,
