Job Description Individual contributor role. Design and development of PHY (L1) software in 4G, NB-IoT or 5G. Hands on DSP software development experience in C. Strong knowledge in digital communication technologies such as OFDMA, FEC, MIMO, QPSK, QAM, GMSK, equalizers, Turbo/Viterbi decoding, Frequency hopping, carrier aggregation etc. Hands on experience in L1 software optimization for MIPS and memory MATLAB software development experience. DSP Software development experience in fixed-point and floating-point precision arithmetic. Strong programming & system debugging skills. Very good understanding of PHY layer protocols, procedures, techniques and algorithms. In depth analysis & debugging of issues arising out of system testing, field testing and conformance testing etc., Experience in developing interface software for transporting IQ samples and for higher layer messaging. Software development experience in a multicore environment. Hands-on software development in the RTOS environment and usage of semaphores, mutexes, task scheduling, multi-tasking, multi-threading, IPC, etc. Desirable Knowledge or hands on experience in ORAN PHY fronthaul interface software development. Design and development of PHY (L1) software in ORAN based systems Knowledge in 3GPP functional split for 4G and 5G Knowledge of Intel x86 architecture and SIMD features Working knowledge of optimizing L1 software using intel intrinsic(s) Hands on experience in Intel flex RAN software suite Algorithm development experience using MATLAB and signal processing toolbox, communication toolbox (ref:hirist.tech),
