- Senior WordPress Developer - Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in WordPress development, theme and plugin customization, performance optimization, and security best practices. Additionally, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage clients efficiently are non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities (KRA): WordPress Development & Customization: Build, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins. Implement custom functionalities using PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress APIs. Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. Website Performance & Security Optimization: Optimize website speed, caching, and database performance. Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities. Client Communication & Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients. Understand client requirements, suggest improvements, and set realistic expectations. Provide timely updates and resolve client concerns professionally. Project Execution & Delivery: Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality code standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging before deployments. Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior developers and review code to maintain best practices. Keep up with the latest WordPress trends and technologies. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and fix technical issues, including website downtime, errors, and performance bottlenecks. Provide ongoing maintenance and updates for WordPress websites. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Client Satisfaction Score (CSAT): Maintain an average client satisfaction rating of 90% or higher. Resolve client concerns within 24 hours of escalation. Project Delivery Timeliness: Ensure 95% on-time delivery of projects as per agreed deadlines. Code Quality & Best Practices: Maintain a code review approval rate of 95%+ with minimal revisions. Ensure websites achieve a 90+ Google PageSpeed score. Communication & Client Handling: Respond to client queries within 1 business hour. Conduct at least two client meetings per month for project updates. Website Uptime & Bug Resolution: Maintain 99.9% website uptime across all managed sites. Resolve critical bugs within 4 hours and non-critical issues within 24 hours. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Implement at least one new optimization or feature per quarter. Contribute to internal WordPress development best practices and training. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in WordPress development. Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom development. Experience with WooCommerce, API integrations, and website security. Proficiency in performance optimization (caching, CDN, image optimization, etc.). Exceptional communication and client management skills (non-negotiable). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience working in an agency environment is a plus.,
