Job Description
- KAPIDHWAJ AI SUMMER INTERNSHIP (MAY-JULY 2025) Job Objective: As an AI/ML Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in building and testing machine learning models for our end-to-end AI-based surveillance system. Your primary objective will be to develop, evaluate and test various models, including object detection, human detection, facial recognition, automatic number plate recognition, red light violation detection, suspicious activity detection, etc., various surveillance applications. Additionally, you will work towards deploying these models on embedded edge devices for testing and optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. 2. Research, design, and develop machine learning (computer vision) models as per project objectives. 3. Train and fine-tune machine learning models using relevant datasets to optimize performance and accuracy. 4. Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of models to assess their effectiveness in real-world scenarios. 5. Collaborate with hardware engineers to deploy models on embedded edge devices or cloud platforms for testing and optimization. 6. Document model development processes, experiments, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications and Skills: Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Strong understanding of Machine Learning / Computer Vision & Image Processing concepts and algorithms, with hands-on experience in model development, evaluation, and deployment. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn. Experience with deployment frameworks such as TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, or ONNX, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with IoT devices or edge computing. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Job Duration: 2-3 months summer internship, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. Stipend: 20,000 (incl. performance bonus) Expectations: Demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and problem-solving. Show a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail in model development and testing. Adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies. Exhibit professionalism and integrity in all interactions and tasks.,
