- Interested candidates, kindly mail to hidden_email Main Purpose: The Unit Lead Well Completions(ULWC) is responsible for delivering value through safe, compliant, reliable, and competitive wells. The ULWC will have accountability for Subsea Completions, Well Testing, Work-Over and Interventions activities. The ULWC is accountable for timely delivery of high quality engineering procedures conformant with RIL standards and compliant to regulations. The ULWC is also accountable for developing engineering staff and ensuring learnings are shared across all functions. Job Accountabilities: Manage key functions in the well delivery process for Deepwater wells Ensure compliance to Operating Management System Responsible for safe and compliant operations within budget and on time. Conceptualize, design, plan, organize, direct and manage the overall implementation of deep-water completions. Ensure compliance of completion design, procedures, inclusive of all applicable legislation, and company policies, standards and procedures. Development / review of the well / job program and procedures Provide technical expertise to troubleshot major operational problems Lead and guide the development , integration and implementation of new well completions program in order to meet the short term and long term targets Initiate the well testing activities to obtain the fluid types , properties , productivity and volume of the wells through practical , efficient, cost effective and safe well testing program and implementation Identify, initiate and monitor the workover activities to revive, enhance or maximize the potential of existing wells through comprehensive identification, analysis, integration and the development of the workover programs. Participate in deep-water completion related engineering studies. Specify completion and intervention equipment and services and assist the evaluation, tender and procurement process. Recommend completion design alternatives ( tubular design, connectors, sand control, stimulation , intelligent well completion etc., ) Implement CWOP exercises and participates in procedural / operational risk assessment. Share lessons learnt and best practices with the work group. Management of Lessons learnt system and championing of all performance improvement initiatives. Maintenance and updating of completions, workover, and well services documentation and data Deployment and coordination with completions supervisors. Coordinate QA/QC of completion equipment and tools. Mentor completion engineers. Skills Required : Ability to manage emergencies and other aspects of HSE. A valid IWCF or equivalent well control certificate is required. Working experience with Major Operator in Deepwater wells. Project management skills Ability to direct and coordinate the work activities of suppliers and service company. Extensive experience in completion design and operating experience , planning and executing complex, deep and high pressure deep-water wells. Proven competency in planning and execution of sand control completions ( e.g, CHFP, OHGP, alternative path design ) Extensive experience of upper completion systems components, their design and application. Sound specific knowledge of well engineering and all completions technologies. Sound knowledge of various services applied in operations (Coil Tubing, Slickline, Stimulation, Casing and tubular running services, hardware, logging etc.) Possess good analytical, organizational and English communication skills. Demonstrate leadership behaviors that drive high performance. Ability to build team consensus and to work effectively and collaboratively in multi-disciplined environment. Ability to multitask between several different projects that are in planning or execution stages. Qualification: Bachelor degree Engineering or Petroleum from a recognized university. Experience: Total 15+ years of Experience in the Drilling & Completion Operations and Engineering. 3 years experience in managing Deepwater sandface completions in Engineering role.
