We are looking for an experienced Formulation Development Chemist (Color Cosmetics) to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality, trend-driven cosmetic products. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Development Chemist with at least 3 years of experience in developing color cosmetics, including lipsticks, foundations, eyeshadows, and other makeup products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pigments, formulation techniques, and regulatory compliance to create innovative products that align with market demands. Responsibilities: Develop and formulate a wide range of color cosmetics, including lipsticks, foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, and more. Conduct in-depth research on pigments, raw materials, and cosmetic trends to develop innovative formulations. Perform stability testing, shade matching, and compatibility studies to ensure product quality and shelf-life. Optimize formulations to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality control, to bring new products to market. Maintain detailed records of formulation processes, ingredient specifications, and test results. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FDA, BIS, and other cosmetic standards. Troubleshoot formulation challenges and provide technical support during scale-up and production. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the color cosmetics industry. Requirements: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in color cosmetics formulation and product development. Strong knowledge of pigments, emulsions, and formulation techniques specific to color cosmetics. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies related to cosmetic products. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with clean beauty and natural formulations.
