Engineering Manager Backend (Bengaluru, Karnataka) Role Overview Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor backend engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and other engineering teams to execute the roadmap. Own the architecture and system design of key products, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Uphold high-quality software development practices and advocate for best practices. Identify technical challenges and proactively implement solutions. Work closely with international teams for seamless product development and delivery. Must-Have Qualifications 9+ years of experience in software development with expertise in at least three of the following: Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, React. 2+ years of recent experience as an Engineering Manager. Strong backend expertise with Python, Node.js, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Experience working at renowned product companies. Educational background from Tier 1 Engineering Institutes (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT, DTU) OR experience in top global tech companies. Preferred Qualifications Strong recruitment and team-building skills.
