• Supplier Qualification - support on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessment of supplier risk. Perform re-qualification of existing suppliers per Supplier Quality Development (SQD) guidelines.
• Lead Product and Process Qualification of suppliers providing components/systems for Siemens Energy Compressor Naroda facility. Main commodity focus will be machining of castings, forgings and other raw material types.
• Supplier Development - initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures
• Plan Implement Supplier Quality Assurance measures during entire supplier lifecycle (qualification + ongoing business) to ensure Supply Chain Resilience for Naroda procurement of 3rd party parts services.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures at supplier for quality issues
• Utilize Risk Management Methodologies to avoid quality issues at supply base
• Support product development of new/revised components to ensure manufacture-ability source-ability and provide technical evaluation of design changes as input to cost impact analysis
• Highlight opportunities for Innovation Improvement - externally at supplier via technical
