Job Description:

Assist in the performance of engineering duties such as the planning of Thermodynamics, Aero Thermal analysis, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Aero Mechanics, and Acoustics. Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircrafts and parts. Establishes specifications, performs analysis, and conducts performance tests. Predicts new and derivative noise levels and designs elements of vehicles and systems to ensure compliance with noise regulations, specifications and guarantee requirements. Includes aerodynamics, stability and control, flutter and vibration, landing loads, aircraft or system structures, hydrodynamics, propulsion system, fuels and combustion, aero-acoustics, aero-mechanics, heat transfer and instrumentation

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 3 year to 10 Yrs. of experience in Stress analysis of Mechanical components (Aero, Rail, Automobile and Industrial) using ANSYS-APDL/Workbench/ Hyper Mesh/ Opti Struct
• Should have a basic knowledge in FEA Theory, Solid mechanics, Machine design and Fatigue.
• 2D & 3D Finite Element modeling of simple, moderate and complex components (Hexahedral & tetrahedral elements) using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench
• Linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material and contact Linearity) using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench
• Modal, Harmonic and transient Dynamic stress analysis using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench
• Strength, stability and Durability assessment of components
• Damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life

Desired Skills:

• Should able to Develop/modify APDL Macros
• Should able to build/update FE Models in Hyper Mesh.
• Experience in VB programming will be an added advantage
