Regional IT Strategy Development
Partner with Region Presidents and other senior region leaders to deeply understand strategic and tactical business objectives.
Work with IT Leadership to create and implement Regional business strategies that leverage and integrate IT strategy of architecture, infrastructure, and applications of existing and new technology to achieve business objectives.
Identification of Regional Projects
Work with region representatives to understand current and desired future state operating models and business capability roadmaps.
Participate in the development of financial models indicating the investment required and estimated benefits.
Work with the Regions to define business value associated with desired IT project. Define quantifiable and qualitative measurements of success.
Define requirements needed to achieve business objectives.
Initiate Regional IT projects on defined requirements and business value proposition.
Support new commercial activities that leverage IT services to our customers.
Authors Project Charters for proposed projects.
Front Office Application Alignment - Marketing, Sales and Service Enablement
Enables agility and speed to Go-To-Market by providing for region-specific needs
Appropriately leverage common IT Platforms to provide regional market driven Front Office requirements
Balance Front Office architecture goals of common process and region-specific needs; Participate in the evaluation of Region-specific needs given the goals of other Regions and corporate.
Partner with designated Front Office operational process owners to establish the Front Office operational design and evaluate the balance between cross-regional operational consistency goals and region specific objectives.
Regional IT Management
Participate in creating the Annual Operating Plan for the Region IT.
Understand and explain actual IT costs in the Regions P&L including oversight of those costs directly charged, assigned and/or allocated.
Provide day-to-day management of IT resources in the Region.
Establish and maintain effective communication and engagement with appropriate executives and managers to ensure that proper information technology needs are met including the management of client expectations.
Lead execution of IT Business Governance Structure for the region.
Present a quarterly report card of IT performance for the Region.
