Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pan Asian Chef to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Pan Asian cuisine, including Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes. Menu Development & Innovation: Collaborate with management to design and update the Pan Asian menu. Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to enhance the dining experience. Incorporate seasonal and locally sourced ingredients when possible. Kitchen Operations & Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff in Pan Asian cooking techniques. Manage food preparation timelines to ensure efficient service. Maintain kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed. Quality Control & Hygiene Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and prepared dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Cost Control & Inventory Management: Monitor food costs and minimize waste without compromising quality. Work with suppliers to source the best ingredients at optimal prices. Keep track of stock levels and maintain efficient inventory management.
