Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms for our D2C products. Develop and implement a content strategy based on this research.
On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, product pages, and blog posts to align with SEO best practices. Focus on optimizing metadata, headers, internal linking, and ensuring that content is relevant and engaging.
Off-Page SEO: Execute link-building strategies, including outreach, guest posting, and collaboration with influencers, bloggers, and other partners to increase domain authority and drive traffic.
Technical SEO: Work with the development team to improve website speed, mobile optimization, site structure, and ensure proper crawling and indexing of pages. Handle any issues related to schema markup, redirects, and URL optimization.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, bounce rate, and conversion rates. Provide detailed reports and insights using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Content Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO-optimized content creation (blogs, articles, landing pages, etc.). Review content for keyword optimization and adherence to SEO guidelines.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor websites to identify opportunities and stay updated on trends and new SEO tactics.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure our SEO strategies remain effective and ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
Proven experience (1-2 years) as an SEO Executive or in a similar digital marketing role, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.), and on-page/off-page techniques.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Understanding of technical SEO elements such as sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, and site architecture.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on performance metrics.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), preferably Shopify, WordPress, or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
