Job Purpose:
The Flight Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient loading and offloading of equipment for aircraft while adhering to all safety, regulatory, and service standards. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of ramp safety procedures, Galley Loading Plans (GLP), Equipment Loading Plans (ELP), and close collaboration with airline officials to ensure smooth operations.
Job Description:
Oversee the loading and offloading of equipment for aircraft.
Ensure strict adherence to ramp safety procedures.
Possess detailed knowledge of the menu, GLP, and ELP for aircraft managed by the unit
Coordinate systematic galley loading of equipment and professionally hand over to the crew, ensuring all check sheets are correctly filled.
Ensure all items are offloaded and fresh supplies are loaded before the removal of the hiloader, meeting required timelines.
Collaborate with airline officials to manage passenger load and accommodate any increased requirements promptly.
Ensure flight challans are raised accurately and signed by airline authorities after each flight.
Plan, supervise, and oversee proper equipment packing, presetting of classes, and the development of procedures, schedules, and checklists.
Keep airline manuals up-to-date and ensure proper filing of checklists, inventories, and other essential records.
Maintain flight-specific records in accordance with HACCP and ISO standards to ensure full compliance.
Report customer complaints or issues to the Duty Manager or Duty Officer, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Ensure cleanliness of designated work areas before and after flights.
Actively participate in departmental meetings, addressing concerns related to equipment or staff and suggesting improvements.
Take on additional duties as assigned by senior staff members.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree or 3-year diploma in Hotel Management or a 1-year diploma in Aviation or Hospitality Management.
0-3 years of experience in the service industry.
