Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: o Ensure that the air conditioning systems in guest rooms are functioning properly, providing comfort for guests at all times. o Regularly check and maintain AC units in lobbies, restaurants, lounges, wellness centre, and other public spaces. o Respond quickly to any guest complaints related to temperature control, ensuring minimal disruption. o Perform routine checks on all air conditioning systems across the resort to avoid breakdowns during peak times. o Clean and replace filters, check refrigerant levels, inspect the ductwork, and ensure that each unit is running efficiently. o Schedule seasonal maintenance to prepare systems for the high-demand summer months when AC usage is at its peak. o Provide immediate repair services if a system breaks down, especially in guest rooms or common areas. o Use diagnostic tools to locate the issue and provide fast, effective solutions to minimize guest inconvenience. o Work with resort management to optimize the AC systems for energy efficiency, reducing costs and environmental impact. This might include adjusting temperature settings or implementing energy-saving equipment. o Suggest improvements or upgrades, such as more efficient units or systems, to improve overall sustainability. o Regularly check the central air system, managing temperature control for larger areas like ballrooms, conference halls, and event spaces. o Ensure the system is keeping large areas cool while maintaining an energy-efficient operation. o Work closely with the facilities and housekeeping teams to ensure the AC systems are in top condition in areas frequently used by guests. o Communicate with management about any major issues that could affect guest experience, like long downtime for repairs. o Ensure all work complies with local and national building codes and safety standards.
