Job Description
- Role Description " Sizing , Design, TBE, coordinate and analysis of mechcanical pacakges like Gas Compressors, vessels, tanks, GSU, GDU, N2 Gen, Hold up Compressors, Air Compressor and Dryers, Chillers, Pumps, Air Coolers, Heat Exhangers etc. Develop and implement detailed mechanical designs for equipment, piping, and systems, adhering to relevant codes and standards. Conduct thermal and mechanical modeling and testing of packages to ensure they meet the design requirements. Perform stress analysis, finite element analysis, and other engineering calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs. Prepare technical specifications and drawings for fabrication and construction. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in the lifecycle of equipment. Drive the selection and qualification of critical suppliers, ensuring their products meet design specifications and conduct meeting for techncal alignment. Review and approve vendor proposals and drawings. Provide technical support to until RFSU of the Package on site. Review detailed engineering documentation to support manufacturing and assembly processes. Assist in creating design verification and validation plans to ensure product meets all design and regulatory requirements. Act as a team lead and technical liaison with key suppliers, coordinating design and supply processes. Develop procedures for design, mechanical operations, and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. Provide engineering and technical support to on-site teams, ensuring correct installation and operation. Review engineering project data and deliverables for compliance with company and industry standards. Provide input to Proposals for estimation of MTOs and coordination with suppliers Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and equipment lists. Familiar with construction activities & ready to visit on site to resolve construction related problems. Develop installation and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Thorough knowledge of International Standards like IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS & other Industry codes for discipline are MUST.; Hands on experience of FEA, Stress and Mechanical equipment sizing softwares like SolidWorks, CATIA. and familiar with CAD softwares like AutoCAD or Microstation. Strong verbal and written skills in English is must Experience with Iraq Projects shall be a Plus,
