JD for Project Sales / Business Development / Area Sales :-
Area Sales Manager- Projects - He will be covering Calicut district on a regular basis to promote our Lighting Solutions to our targeted customer and handle the leads by our network. He would evaluate the performance of competition, gather data on expansion plans, do combing operation and conduct promotional activities. He has to coordinate with all the operational internal team to give best solution to the clients. He also has to maintain project databases that has to be sent to the Management on Monthly basis.
Reporting:- He would be reporting to Business Development Manager who is based in Mumbai on daily basis and on BDM visits. He has to introduce all the main clients as a team.
Role:- This role is Individual Contributor but has to work in team. He has to be a team player.
Experience:- We are looking for 3- 5 years of experience with Proper Communication and Analytical skills. The person should have the experience of working in projects for building material electrical industry but Lighting industry experience would be preferable and advantage. If he understands and knows how to speak local language would also be an advantage.
Below are his Responsibility and Accountability:-
1) To make cold calls and map the value (end customer, consultant, architect, contractor, PMC) for projects in preliminary stage
2) Comb industrial/commercial areas/ Residential periodically and generate leads.
3) Meet customers from existing customer databases.
4) Identify large requirements, corporate and institutional customers. Map complete business potential, ensure our brand is approved and provide technical support on periodical basis
5) Gather lost order data and competitor information from the field
6) Conduct promotional activities - implant seminar, Collect product performance feedback
7) Channel Management
8) Consultant Management
9) Generating reference from existing customers and improving price realizations
