Job Description
- Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Support in compliance to customer requirements. Repairing Dies Mold, jigs & fixtures. High degree of precision and attention to detail. Ensure that tools and dies created must meet exact specifications to ensure the quality and efficiency of production. Die maker will work from Pattern development Sheet & Production Router. Maintenance & Upkeep of Molds. Develop and implement system for project planning, creating, monitoring and updating for new product development. Perform the regular check of injection molds. Coordinate for development of manufacturing techniques for each stage of the process with support from relevant departments, against appropriate formats. Ensure issues identified during NPD are discussed in a forum with all the stake holders to resolve the issues at the earlier stage of product development. Where appropriate, assist customer support in any customer meetings to offer technical/process detail on the development of their products. Knowledge of quality system as ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc. Have up to date report on the position of development parts within the department Knowledge of spotting & Blue matching Troubleshoot Corrections The Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role shall be: Accountable for managing all the projects. Technical specifications Technique sheets Customer documents etc. The Jobholder must ensure Product safety and prevent the FOD and Counterfeit parts in their concerned area. To ensure safe work environment within the working area along with safety officer safety officer, Quality and Operation Head Ideal Qualifications: Diploma in Tools & Die making Mechanical Diploma with Die making experiance Additional Responsibilities: (Write if any additional responsibilities) Desired Candidate Profile Education and Certifications: Experience: Diploma- Min 4 Yrs with injection molding background Diploma- with wax injection molding & tool room will have added advantage Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies: Configuration Management Project management Molding Knowledge of 5 core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP). Knowledge of 7 QC tools. Knowledge of Computer and report preparation. Knowledge of applicable National or International standard for dimension. Knowledge of QMS, ISO9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc. Skills die maker,
