Lead Engineer, Software - Hyderabad @ Collins Aerospace

• Provide technical expertise to support the Verification
• Author and validate high level and low-level requirements, verification strategies, test cases and test procedures for Display Application
• Participate in Reviews, activities supporting SOI Reviews, Structural Analysis and Formal Qualification for Release.
• Participate in requirements, design discussions, and suggest optimized technical solutions
• Identify, evaluate, and develop engineering tools / processes necessary to meet engineering and business goals
• Ability to use project cost and schedule requirements as part of the overall best technical solution
• Timely communications on significant issues or developments while maintaining a focus on safety and reliability
• Conduct Problem Report (PR) investigation, resolution, and Solution Implementation
• Technically responsible for project milestones.

Required Eligibility / Skill Sets

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech with 3 - 6 years experience in SW development life cycle and SW testing life cycle with
• Good knowledge on DO178B/C process.
• Expertise in working on safety critical systems and software audits
• Hands on experience with Python scripting, embedded C, C++, device driver development and MATLAB Simulink
• Expertise in Unit Testing
• Expertise in Software Verification skills with good understanding on Requirements Based Testing
• Good knowledge of Structural Coverage Analysis and its Vector Case, Rapita tools
• Familiar with SDLC tools like MATLAB, DOORs, ALM, SVN
• Hands on experience in Avionics Display Domain
• Technical leadership, Project Management and Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Understanding of software certification documents
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Configuration Management and Change Control Process
• Good to have exposure to ARINC 661 software specification.

Basic Qualifications

BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech or any other equivalent degree.
