Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Mohali for a Senior PHP Developer at BootesNull. The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming. Qualifications Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, WordPress, Laravel. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) proficiency. Basics of Front-End Development and Programming knowledge. Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel Wordpress. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. CI CD is a plus. Azure/AWS is a plus. Docker is a plus. GIT is mandatory. Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using PHP, themes, and plugins. Write clean, optimized, and scalable code following best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring security and performance. Work with APIs, integrations, and third-party plugins. Optimize website speed. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and security updates. Required Skills: Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Deep knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugin development. Experience with WooCommerce, custom post types, and API integrations. Proficiency in debugging and optimizing website performance. Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good to Have: Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks. Understanding of WordPress, headless WordPress and REST APIs. Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
