Job Description
Job Purpose
This position supervises a civil repair and maintenance crew, ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of Agro installation & facilities. Also manage civil MIS, maintenance programs, and participate in planning new civil construction projects for the ongoing development of the company's infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of the civil repair and maintenance crew, including scheduling, task allocation, and execution monitoring.
- Supervise and participate in repairs of buildings, structures, foundations, roads, and irrigation systems (focusing on civil aspects).
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, structures, irrigation systems (civil components), and related infrastructure to identify potential issues and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for civil structures and components to minimize downtime and maximize their lifespan.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures specific to civil construction and maintenance.
- Manage spare parts inventory for civil repairs and requisition materials as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, MIS and reports for civil repairs and projects.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., operations, production, engineering) to ensure smooth execution of civil repair, maintenance, and new project construction.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in civil maintenance processes and implement cost-saving measures.
