As a QS (Quantity Surveying) & Billing Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the
financial aspects of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate
cost estimation, budgeting, and billing for projects, contributing to their successful completion
within budgetary constraints. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and
effective communication with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation:
Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
Stay updated on market rates for construction materials and labor to ensure cost
estimates are current and competitive.
2. Budget Management:
Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets.
Track and report budget variances, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing recommendations for cost control.
3. Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare and submit timely and accurate invoices to clients based on project
milestones Or completed work.
Maintain comprehensive billing records and resolve any billing discrepancies or
disputes in a professional and timely manner.
4. Documentation:
Maintain organized project documentation related to quantities, materials,
invoices, and payments. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and
regulatory requirements
5. Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain
competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Verify and approve vendor invoices and payments in line with project budgets.
6. Reporting:
Generate regular reports on project financial performance, including cost
tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
Present financial updates to senior management and project teams.
7. Risk Assessment:
Identify potential financial risks associated with projects and develop mitigation
strategies
8. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all work complies with quality standards and regulations.
9. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers,
and procurement personnel, to ensure smooth project execution.


Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and billing within the
construction industry.
3. Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and tools.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in calculations and documentation.
7. Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
9. Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
