- Overview Microsoft Research India ( MSR I ndia ) is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions. The postdoc program at MSR I ndia provides post doctoral researchers an opportunity to work on impactful research problems while collaborating closely with Microsoft r esearchers and product groups. Postdoctoral researchers spend 1 to 2 years at MSR I ndia and receive ongoing guidance and mentoring from experienced researcher s . Our areas of interest are Computer Science Theory and Cryptography , Machine Learning and AI , Systems , and Technology and Empowerment . Projects in the lab are inter-disciplinary and span across these research areas. While we are looking for exceptional candidates in all these areas, we are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated track record in AI/ML research , including advances in AI/ML algorithms, systems for AI workloads , the science behind AI models, and application of AI models to different areas (software engineering, societal issues, etc.).
