Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) @ Oracle

Job Description

SUMMARY We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop detailed test plan/test scripts for all product releases including main releases and hot/patch fixes. The execution of all test scripts and end user experience tests. Help with the recreation and validation of customer reported issues. Updating test scripts with valid customer reported issues. Managing and maintaining testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports. Tracking problems and communicating defects to developers as they occur. Provide proactive software quality assurance process assistance. REQUIREMENTS: 4+ years of professional software quality engineering and testing experience, including test automation and at least 1+ year of experience as a software quality assurance team lead. Experience with client-server, web applications, database solutions, user interface and infrastructure automation. Experience in SQL, Agile Processes and testing web services (REST/SOAP) and other integrations between systems. Experience in testing web-based and client-server applications. Experience working in an Agile Development environment. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Have experience of using tools, i.e. Rally, Selenium, Load Runner, Keynote and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to perform functional, automated, load, performance, and/or stress testing. Having knowledge of the appropriate programming languages in .Net Framework (REST and/ API, Web Services) / tools / skillsets and high level knowledge of the technical architecture of the project. Excellent written and oral communication skills. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, (or) Equivalent Degree.
