Job Description

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the analysis, design & development of features as a strong individual contributor.
Understand requirements, understand existing features, design and architect solutions.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable ROR code.

Required Technical Skills:

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
Experience with Ruby on Rails .
Experience with Apache HTTP Server .
Experience with REST / XML Web services.
Experience with CSS, Object oriented JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX,JSON.
Experience with database systems such as SQL and Postgres or at least one RDBMS.
Experience with Linux ? Commands and Scripting Languages.
Experience with at least one source versioning tools SVN or Git.

Other skills

Experience with Telecom Domain is a Big plus.
Experience in working on complex issues with strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Quick learner and self-starter who thrives in an environment of change.
