Job Description

Programming Proficiency: Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation.
Test Automation: Experience scripting automated tests for both backend and frontend layers.
Performance Testing: Experience with tools like Apache JMeter or k6.
CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
DevOps & Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Test Automation Frameworks: Ability to support and improve existing frameworks.

Experience:

5+ years in software testing, with strong exposure to automation and performance testing.

Soft Skills:

Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relationship Building: Maintaining strong relationships within the organization and industry.
Emotional Intelligence: Understanding and managing emotions effectively.
Assertiveness: Proactively addressing issues and ensuring quality assurance priorities are met.
Attention to Detail: Identifying gaps and areas of improvement in testing processes.

Advantageous Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

Technical Enhancements:

Security Testing: Experience with penetration testing and security best practices.
Cloud Exposure: Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud testing environments.
AI/ML Testing: Familiarity with AI-driven test automation tools.
Scripting & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Mobile Testing: Experience testing mobile applications and using tools like Appium.
API Testing: Strong knowledge of tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Database Testing: Ability to write SQL queries and validate database integrity.

Process & Soft Skills Enhancements:

Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprints.
Test Reporting & Analytics: Experience with advanced test dashboards and reporting tools.
