Job Description
Key Purpose of the Job :
The role holder is responsible to coordinate and execute Digital transformation initiatives, and Manufacturing Engineering projects at all manufacturing plants. The role holder is responsible for planning project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way upto project closure. Ensure delivery of high quality world class manufacturing facilities with advanced infrastructure solutions that increase efficiency of processes, best utilization of capital resources and reduction in costs. On time delivery and First time right of Projects and ensuring minimal stoppages in progress of Projects is critical to the role holder.
Educational Qualification / Experience required :
"- Diploma / Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Mechatronics
- Certification in Project management
- Experience of around 3 - 5 years in Manufacturing engineering / Digital factory projects in Automobile or discrete manufacturing industry.
- Should possess a minimum experience of 3 years in Manufacturing Engineering projects / coordinating and implementing Digital transformation projects
- Should have extensive knowledge and experience in Project management including technical selection, purchase of Capital equipment for Assembly plants, dealing with external consultants, and coordination of different agencies for projects. "
Key Responsibilities :
1. To understand new requirement from internal cross functional team
2. To decide on architecture for new requirements
3. To estimate budget projection,pricing committee document preparation etc
4. Programing skill using various communication protocols like UPC UA, OPC DA,SLMB (Mitsubishi), MT Link IE etc
5. Programming skill using languages like Genesis 64 (ICONICS), Java,Python,Django, etc to connect PLC,HMI,PC to Server and Dashboards, Reports generation.
6. To direct supplier ""how the programing language or structure to be""
7. To know cost element of the components, solution, identify right vendor
8. To validate the works carried out by Supplier
9. Trouble shoot in case of any down or communication issue
10. To write or rewrite SCADA or .net program in case of any issue
11. To estimate server requirement and enhance capacity
12. To follow license requirements for the software and update as per requirement
13. To create DB creation and connection of SQL"
