- This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 10 years Location: Gurgaon JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced System Engineering Manager with a strong background in system design, system architecture, and modeling. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in mechatronic and/or software systems, coupled with a solid understanding of core engineering principles. As a key leader in our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing system engineers, defining system architecture, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and efficiency. This position requires a deep technical mindset, the ability to create strategic roadmaps, and a strong focus on optimizing system performance while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines. Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of system engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Develop and manage system architecture and system design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering best practices. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to end-of-life, assessing product viability at each stage. Define and implement technical roadmaps, guiding the team through complex engineering challenges while maintaining a focus on long-term goals. Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering into unified system designs. Leverage well-defined system release strategies to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability. Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, R&D, and manufacturing, to align system engineering efforts with business objectives. Optimize system performance, ensuring efficiency and reliability in real-world applications. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous improvement in system engineering methodologies Key Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, system design, and system architecture. Strong expertise in mechatronic and/or software systems, with a deep understanding of engineering principles. Proven track record of leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams, driving collaboration between mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Experience in defining and implementing system architecture strategies, ensuring seamless product integration. Hands-on experience in system modeling and simulation tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk mitigation. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to create and execute technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business and engineering objectives. Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements in system engineering,
