Job Description
The *Hands-on Frappe Architect with Flutter* is a technical leader responsible for integrating Frappes low-code platform with Flutter. This role involves designing scalable solutions, developing and extending Frappe functionalities, and working closely with the Scrum team to ensure high-quality, timely delivery. The architect will also monitor production systems, provide technical support, and publish assets to the Frappe Marketplace.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Solution Design & Leadership:* Design Flutter-based solutions for Frappe, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Provide best practices for Frappe business workflows and make decisions about extending Frappe functionalities.
2. *Development & Collaboration:* Own development tasks, ensure high-quality coding standards, perform code reviews, and collaborate with the Scrum team. Develop Flutter widgets that can be used independently of Frappe.
3. *Production Support & Monitoring:* Troubleshoot production issues, analyze performance bottlenecks, and resolve customer-facing issues quickly. Set up monitoring systems and proactively fix recurring problems.
4. *Marketplace Publishing:* Publish reusable components and assets to the Frappe Marketplace with proper documentation and best practices.
5. *Continuous Improvement & Mentorship:* Stay updated with Flutter/Frappe advancements, mentor junior developers, and suggest improvements to development processes.
*Required Skills:*
- *Technical Expertise:* In-depth knowledge of Frappe, Flutter, Python, APIs, DevOps practices, MySQL/MongoDB, and testing frameworks.
- *Architectural Skills:* Understanding of design patterns, scalable solutions, and UML documentation.
- *Soft Skills:* Effective communication, mentorship, and a collaborative attitude in an agile development environment.
*Experience:*
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Frappe customizations and Flutter integration.
*Key Metrics:*
- Defect rates, unit test coverage, sprint completion, peer review participation, and asset adoption in the Frappe Marketplace.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, ensuring that Frappe and Flutter are effectively integrated while driving quality, innovation, and mentoring within the development team.
