Job Description
1) Adherence to CGMP (current good manufacturing practices) and safety practice.
2) Negotiate with service provider for the appropriate price model based on the market standard and
source alternative vendor as support function.
3) Prepare and update SOP and WI for logistics day to day activities and train sub-ordinates
4) Sourcing CHA for customer clearance for export/import material and monitor for required
documentation as per standard
5) Responsible to adhere requirement to handle dangerous good item as per IATA and DGR
requirement and standard.
6) Hands on experience in SAP and other documents like E-way bill, DC, form 7, Chart chit and other
transport documents.
7) Source and negotiate with freight forwarder and airlines for competitive rates.
8) Knowledge in handling temperature control shipments particularly 2 to 8 degrees.
9) Knowledge on taxation such as DDU and DDP for CHA clearance.
10) Knowledge of airlines and county variation according to IATA requirement.
11) Source truck vendor for domestic shipments from Gujarat and Andra pradesh to Mysore factory.
12) Knowledge on various ports and requirement for Air cargo and Sea transportation
